This Saturday morning, in the Santa Maria Public Library's Shepard Hall, community members gathered not just to view and discuss artwork but to actively participate in it. A range of multi-sensory activities designed by Catalina Bertola, allowed participants of all ages to explore the ideas and visual motifs which inspired her artwork. The temporary interactive installations were available for only one day, but those who attended the special event contributed to a collage which was put on display with Bertola's ink drawings for the remainder of the exhibit.
